The WAEMU commission awarded to CESS Institute a regional agricultural project to be implemented in eight (8) countries

The main purpose of this regional project is to assess the agricultural statistical system in each eight West African countries and to propose a harmonized system to be implemented by the WAEMU.

Through this harmonization, the WAEMU commission intends to improve its monitoring and assistance to its member’s countries, especially regarding food security. The CESS team will visit the eight countries between March 20 and May 21st 2012.
