CESS Institute has been awarded a contract from WAEMU to train its commission executives on Result-Based Management. The training seminar took place in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, on November 10 to 15, 2016.
The main purpose for this seminar was to enhance the skills of the selected WAEMU commission executives of RBM policy and principles. At the end, the participants will have bigger impact in their daily professional and personal activities.READMORE
CESS Institute assessed the implementation process of the Lesotho National Strategic Development Plan (NSDP 2012-17). This assessment and report review progress, identify the challenges and gaps towards the plans implementation, acknowledge impacts of the plan on Lesotho and reflect on lessons to be learned from this process. This evidence based review is being carried out as a mean to understand the strengths and weaknesses of NSDP and utilize this knowledge to scope out the parameters and needs of a second National Development Plan NSDP2.
CESS Institute implemented a value for money case study for a UNDP Project. The main purpose of this study was to provide a Value for Money (VfM) case study assessment of the Radio Communication System (RCS) and the Incident Reporting and Response System (IRRS) support extended to TPF by UNDP via the Electoral Support Project (ESP) initially in 2010 and later expanded via DEP. The study also looked at the sustainability beyond the 2015 general elections.READMORE
At the invitation of Laval University and Quebec International, Dr. Gaston GOHOU delivers a keynote speech to encourage Canadian and especially Quebec investors to choose Africa to expand their business. The event was organized at Laval University on November 28, 2016 in Quebec City, Canada. Important business men and women, several diplomatic representatives of African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Senegal,…), representative from the Quebec government ( Ministry of Economy, Science and Innovation) and students attended this important event.
