Research: FDI and Poverty Reduction

A research paper on the impact of FDI on poverty reduction in African regions, written by Dr. Gaston GOHOU (CEO of CESS Institute) and Prof. Issouf SOUMARE (Professor & Director of the Laboratory for Financial Engineering of Laval University), has been accepted for publication in World Development.

The Board of Directors of CESS Institute is pleased to announce the nomination of Dr. Gaston GOHOU as the new CEO of CESS Institute, beginning March 1st 2011. Dr GOHOU has previously worked for the World Bank and the African Development Bank (AfDB). He will bring to CESS Institute his extensive experience from the Development World to achieve its “new vision for development”.
